Majors Night 2018
How does society influence the development of science and tech? How do science and tech impact society? Ever thought about the politics of algorithms? What about the appropriation of technologies by laypeople? Explore these questions and more through STS!

The Program in Science, Technology, and Society is a dynamic interdisciplinary major with affiliated faculty from over a dozen departments, including Anthropology, Computer Science, Education, Electrical Engineering, History, and more. With 5 concentrations areas, and a robust honors program open to all majors, STS offers students the opportunity to foster a broad understanding of the technical and social dimensions of science and technology. Join us at Majors Night to learn more about us, and to begin crafting your STS journey. We hope to see you there!
