Windfall Bio has developed the first-ever solution for removing climate-harming methane emissions. Our innovative, nature-based approach uses methane-eating microbes (MEMs) to convert methane from various sources into valuable byproducts like organic fertilizer, carbon credits, or progress toward sustainability goals. This technology enables methane-intensive industries—including agriculture, oil and gas, and waste management—to reduce their methane emissions while operating more efficiently, improving profitability, and minimizing their environmental impact.

We have raised $37 million in funding from Mayfield Ventures, Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, Prelude Ventures, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
