Natalie came to Stanford from La Jolla, California, with an interest in medicine and health. After exploring premed-related majors, Natalie found that she missed taking a more diverse course load. STS offered her the perfect combination of scientific and humanities classes within her Health and Life Sciences concentration. Since she is still unsure about her future career, STS has given her the opportunity to pursue a multidisciplinary education that exposes her to multiple different departments at Stanford. Due to the flexibility of STS, Natalie is also minoring in Spanish, and has gone abroad twice to Santiago and Florence. On campus, Natalie is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was a former member of the women’s water polo team. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, anything outdoors, and spending time with her younger brother, who is also Stanford.
