Zora is a senior this year hailing from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. She came to Stanford with many different interests spanning Linguistics, Chemistry, Math and Law. STS was the only place where she could boil those down together into a productive course of study. After meeting with the director Dr. Sato once a week her fall quarter sophomore year, she was hooked and now she has completed her honor thesis junior year and is pursuing a Bachelors of Sciences in STS while also majoring in French. Her concentration within STS is a self-designed one called the Politics of Algorithms which investigates the intersection of data science and Law and she plans to spawn this knowledge into an international career in the legal tech business. Aside from school, she spends her time playing for the Stanford Women's Rugby Team and co-leading the Black Pre-Law Society. You will often find her reading French novels, listening to French rap and searching for the best pairing of sourdough and brie.
