I graduated in 2003 (BA, STS). After completing my MS in MS&E at Stanford in 2005, I relocated to Oregon (courtesy of Intel) and began working as a UX (User Experience) researcher and later UX designer. I went from Intel to a web design agency, then worked at a small start-up, and now (for the past 6 1/2 years) have been at Autodesk in our office in Lake Oswego, Oregon. I'm currently a Senior Manager of Experience Design, and I manage a team of UX designers - we work on the software delivery ecosystem and tools (ie, download and installation) for all of our products. Autodesk is headquartered in San Rafael and we have offices in SF - every time I fly into SFO I peer out of the airplane window and try to spot the Stanford campus. I've really enjoyed being able to leverage the qualitative research skills I learned at Stanford to help our teams develop customer empathy and understand the goals they are trying to achieve.   In my personal life, I married my husband (Arnold Tang, Stanford BA, Drama, 2000) in 2004 and we have a 6 year old daughter, Rose.
