STS 51 speaker Alondra Nelson appointed to Biden administration

Dr. Alondra Nelson has been named Deputy Director for Science and Society — a new position — in the Biden administration’s Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).  Among her many qualifications, Dr. Nelson is the President-elect of the Society for Social Studies of Science (aka 4S) — the principal professional association for Science & Technology Studies (STS).
